This term, we served two community centres: Changing Young Lives Foundation, and Hong Kong Society of Protection for Children. And we have successfully run two Buddy Reading 101 Induction Sessions for new Buddy Readers.
30 volunteers from all over Hong Kong, age from 6 to 21 years old, have participated in our Buddy Reading Program. Around 30 kids at these two centres have enjoyed 4-6 sessions of English Read Aloud.
As the weather getting warmer in Hong Kong, the program is getting hotter and hotter! For next term from April to July, we have demands from Hans Andersen Club and St. James Settlement. Please look forward to next term of Buddy Reading. See you in April!
